About Stadium

A multi-purpose sports and entertainment arena located in downtown St. Louis, Missouri, the Scottrade Center serves primarily as the home-ice for the National Hockey League’s St. Louis Blues.

When the arena originally opened in 1994, it was known as the Kiel Center, and then changed again to the Savvis Center from 2000 to 2006 when the name was changed to its current name Scottrade Center.

In addition to being the home-ice for the St. Louis Blues, the arena has also hosted a number of other major sporting events like the NCAA Frozen Four Hockey Championships in 2007, the women’s Final Four basketball tournament in 2009, and the NCAA Wresting Championships in 200, 2004, 2005, 2008, 2009, 2012, and again in 2015.

The Scottrade Center had its largest attendance ever during the 2007 Missouri Valley Conference Tournament in 2007 with 22,612 fans in attendance.
